Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline invites applications for the Attach and Train Programme (AnT) in Singapore. This 15-month trainee programme offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to a world‑leading biopharmaceutical environment.

Applicants can be fresh graduates or mid-career, with Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents given priority. Based at the Tuas site, the programme includes structured learning and on-the-job training across MSAT and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical/Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Life Science, or related field.
• Strong SQL knowledge and databases understanding.
• Solid MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent trouble‑shooting capabilities and structured problem solving.
• Ability to think like an engineer to tackle complex technical/process issues with guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Good project management, planning, organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with GMP/cGMP in a biopharma context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the commercial manufacturing team, including change assessment and process monitoring.
• Contribute to the lifecycle of products and processes from inception to disposal.
• Participate in CPV cycles and CPV meetings with Product Owner.
• Assist Product Owner in managing CPV meetings and data reporting.
• Apply KPIs to CPP/CQA trending and issue identification.
• Review process trends and identify quality issues.
• Propose corrective actions to improve process robustness and consistency.
• Support maintenance of TRA, PCS, DTP, CQA and QTTP for designated product.
• Compile and interpret process/product data for reviews and audits.
