Job summary

Collins Aerospace is looking for a highly skilled Structural Repair Technician to join our team in Singapore. The role involves performing structural repairs, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining quality standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in an Aerospace MRO environment, hold a relevant NITEC qualification, and demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively. Key responsibilities include adhering to repair processes, maintaining excellent communication, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of structural repair experience required.
• Demonstrate good personal responsibility and a good work attitude.
• Able to read engineering blueprints and repair sketches.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural repair, cost-conscious in the repair process.
• Carry out repair work according to repair scheme and routing.
• Fill in production planning and quality records.
• Ensure a safe work environment using 5S principles.
• Produce good quality repair work and clear routing upon job completion.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Able to perform the following:

1. Part Forming and Fabrication

2. Structural Repair

3. Cost Conscious in Repair Process

• Handle and responsible for one job

• Carry out repair process to meet job delivery

• Carry out repair work according to repair scheme / routing

• Fill in production planning and quality records

• Skillful in assembly work

• Perform basic troubleshooting in assembly work

• Clear routing upon job completion

• Produce good quality repair work

• Ensure a safe environment with 5S on workshop

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Structural repair experience, Aerospace MRO environment experience will be a plus

• NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering

• Demonstrate good personal responsibility

• Good work attitude and a team player

• Understand Lean process & concept

• Knowledge in Fitting techniques, mechanical and structural assembly.

• Production standards and tolerance principles

• Able to read engineering blue prints and repair sketches

• Good communication skill

• Strong problem solving ability

• Able to use Microsoft Office software

• Read and speak simple English
