Job summary

CALL LADE LOGISTICS PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Vehicle Technician to inspect, service and repair motor vehicles for our fleet and clients.

You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform component repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma or NITEC and be prepared for overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on diagnostic and repair skills for vehicles.
• Able to troubleshoot faults independently and efficiently.
• Willing to work overtime or on weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replacement of engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance for safe vehicle operation.
• Troubleshoot and rectify vehicle breakdowns and defects.
• Perform engine oil, lubricants, filters and routine servicing.
• Inspect parts for wear and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Comply with safety procedures and on-site safety requirements.
• Assist with vehicle recovery or on-site repair work as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles.


• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.


• Perform repair and replacement of vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and other mechanical systems.


• Conduct preventive and scheduled maintenance to ensure vehicles are in safe and good working condition.


• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of vehicle breakdowns and defects.


• Carry out engine oil, lubricant, filter and other routine servicing work.


• Inspect vehicle parts for wear and damage and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.


• Comply with company safety procedures and workplace safety requirements.


• Assist with vehicle recovery, breakdown support or on-site repair work when required.


• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.


• Relevant working experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair is preferred.


• Candidates with hands-on experience in repairing cars, vans, commercial vehicles, trucks or heavy vehicles will be an advantage.


• Good knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, steering and transmission systems.


• Able to troubleshoot and identify vehicle faults independently.


• Able to work overtime, weekends or shifts when operationally required.


• Possession of a valid Singapore driving licence is an advantage.
