Job summary

International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) in Singapore seeks a senior actuary to lead the development and testing of actuarial models for forecasting, risk analysis and valuation. You will engage insurers and consulting partners to translate client needs into practical modelling solutions and support deployment across client environments.

Qualifications

6+ years actuarial experience, preferably life valuation.
Experience with modelling tools such as Prophet/AXIS/PathWise.
Experience in valuation, pricing, IFRS 17, capital and/or reporting.
Familiarity with IFRS 17, RBC 2, HKRBC, RBCT and/or Solvency II.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Mandarin or Korean language skills are an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Model development and testing for forecasting, risk analysis, valuation and regulatory alignment.
Engage insurers and consulting partners to translate needs into workable solutions.
Partner with internal teams to deploy models and enable client adoption.
Build deep product knowledge to explain and support modelling use cases across valuation, pricing and capital planning.
