Job summary

AIA is seeking an actuary to deliver IFRS17 reporting, analyze drivers and movements, and provide financial insights for Singapore operations. You will maintain actuarial models and support new product changes, testing, and governance documentation.

The role emphasises data-driven reporting, collaboration with management, and ongoing system improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Education – University graduate (Major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline)
• Experience – 0 to 2 years of life insurance-related actuarial working experience
• Certifications/Licences – Progression in, or intention to pursue, professional actuarial examinations
• Technical Skills – Knowledge of actuarial software and programming languages such as Python, R, VBA, SQL or SAS would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Regular reporting and analysis: IFRS reporting tasks and explain financial results to local management and Group Office.
• System and Model Maintenance: maintain actuarial models and support product changes and system tests.
• Strategic planning and projects: assist in budget-related model enhancements and management reports
