Job summary

Google Pay team in Singapore is seeking a Mid Mobile Software Engineer to scale the Flutter-based client infrastructure for Google Pay. You will design core architectures, improve performance, and own release pipelines, collaborating with Security, Release, and Product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across Android, iOS, and Flutter.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers and deepening expertise in mobile client platforms, with a focus on high-scale user experiences and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with mobile experience (e.g., Android, iOS or Flutter development).

Responsibilities

• Design core application architectures and optimize critical app health metrics.
• Build and maintain release pipelines, automated testing infrastructure, and developer tools.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, and cross-functional partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work with technologies such as Dart, Flutter, Android, iOS, Java/Kotlin, Objective-C/Swift.
