Job summary

OPTIMUM SOLUTIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Frontend Mobile Software Engineer to build secure, scalable mobile experiences within their digital payments ecosystem. The role focuses on delivering production-grade iOS/Android apps with WebView bridges and secure-by-default design.

The contract is 6 months with renewal possible based on performance and business needs. You will own end-to-end mobile delivery, collaborate across teams, and contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and security

Qualifications

• 8 or more years of hands-on mobile development experience
• Strong experience with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java), including WebView and bridge integrations
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
• Experience with AWS-native environments (ECS/Fargate, API Gateway/ALB, RDS, S3, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, WAF)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of API security (authentication, signing, nonce/timestamp, anti-replay, idempotency)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile UI/UX experiences across merchant discovery, WebView journeys, QR/NFC launches, consent flows, payment experiences and post-payment journeys
• Own end-to-end delivery of mobile Mini Program capabilities from development through testing and deployment
• Develop secure frontend-to-server integrations with external partners
• Apply secure development practices and secure-by-default design
• Build and maintain automated testing and quality controls including CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with Backend, QA, Security and partners to ensure delivery

Our client is aleading digital payments and technology company, and they are looking for aFrontend Mobile Software Engineerto build secure, scalable and seamless mobile experiences across their digital payment ecosystem.

This is a 6-month contract, with the possibility of renewal subject to business requirements and satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile UI/UX experiences supporting merchant discovery, WebView journeys, QR/NFC launches, consent flows, payment experiences and post-payment journeys.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of mobile Mini Program capabilities, from development and integration through testing and production deployment.
• Develop secure frontend-to-server and server-to-server integrations with multiple external partners.
• Apply secure development practices, including API security, vulnerability management, secrets management and secure-by-default design.
• Build and maintain automated testing and quality controls, including unit, integration and API contract testing, CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis and contribute to operational processes.
• Work closely with Backend, QA, Security and external partners to identify risks, resolve issues and ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of hands-on mobile development experiencedelivering production-grade iOS or Android applications.
• Strong experience with iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java), including WebView and bridge integrations.
