Job summary

Champion Management Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to build and improve the HSEF app for Android and iOS.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile Application Developer to join our team and work on the development and continuous improvement of the HSEF App, a workplace safety, compliance and HR management platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new mobile application features, improving existing functions, fixing bugs, integrating APIs, conducting testing and supporting application releases for both Android and iOS platforms.

The role involves working closely with the project team, UI/UX team, backend developers and management to understand requirements and deliver reliable, user-friendly mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance the HSEF mobile application for Android and iOS.

Convert business requirements, workflows and UI/UX designs into functional mobile application features.

Develop modules such as:

E-Inspection

E-PTW / Permit to Work

E-TBM

E-Checklist

Documents

Asset Register

Requisitions

LOA

Chat

HR Module

Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services.

Implement features such as push notifications, QR code scanning, photo/video uploads, GPS/location services, digital signatures and attendance functions.

Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs, crashes and performance issues.

Conduct unit testing, functional testing and regression testing before releases.

Ensure application compatibility across different mobile devices and operating system versions.

Work with backend developers to troubleshoot API and data-related issues.

Coordinate with the project team to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

Participate in application design, development, testing and deployment activities.

Monitor application performance and user feedback and implement improvements.

Prepare and manage application builds and releases through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Maintain proper technical documentation and development records.

Ensure application development follows appropriate security and data-protection practices.

Provide technical support for production issues and urgent application defects.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in mobile application development.

Strong experience in developing Android and/or iOS applications.

Experience with Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Java, Swift or similar mobile development technologies.

Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON and backend integration.

Experience with Git/version control systems.

Good understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.

Experience with push notifications, QR codes, camera, GPS and file/image uploads will be an advantage.

Experience with Firebase or similar mobile services is an advantage.

Experience publishing applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store is preferred.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as with a development team.
