Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Singapore is seeking an experienced Mobile Applications Developer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance apps that run on Android, iOS, and Windows from a single codebase.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, production‑ready solutions while mentoring junior team members and upholding engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 5+ years of software development with .NET technologies.
• Experience building cross‑platform mobile apps with .NET MAUI.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with native Android/iOS interoperability (Java/Kotlin, Swift/Obj-C).
• Experience with automated testing (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest) and Appium.
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps using .NET MAUI.
• Implement MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID practices.
• Create native interop and platform renderers/handlers as needed.
• Collaborate with UX/UI to turn wireframes into responsive UI.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with robust error handling.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests; use Appium.
• Optimize startup time, memory usage, rendering, and battery life.
• Mentor junior/mid engineers and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Stay current with .NET, MAUI, and Xamarin migration best practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experiencedMobile Applications Developer to join our cross-platform mobile development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications that run seamlessly acrossAndroid, iOS, and Windowsfrom a single codebase. You will work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions while driving engineering best practices and mentoring junior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using.NET MAUIfor Android, iOS, and Windows.
• Build scalable and maintainable solutions followingMVVM,Clean Architecture, andSOLIDprinciples.
• Develop native platform integrations and custom renderers/handlers where platform-specific functionality is required.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes into responsive, accessible user interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with robust error handling.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests usingxUnit,NUnit, orMSTest, with UI automation usingAppiumor similar frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, including startup time, memory usage, rendering, and battery consumption.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest.NET,.NET MAUI, andXamarin migrationbest practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment of mobile applications.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in.NETtechnologies.
• Hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using.NET MAUI(Xamarin.Forms experience is an advantage).
• Strong understanding ofMVVM,Clean Architecture, andSOLIDdesign principles.
• Experience integratingRESTful APIsand backend services.
• Solid knowledge of native Android (Java/Kotlin interoperability) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C interoperability) integrations.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such asxUnit,NUnit,MSTest, and UI testing usingAppiumor equivalent.
• Familiarity withGit, Azure DevOps/GitHub, andCI/CDpipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile development teams.
