J.P. Morgan seeks a senior Payments Sales Manager (Vice President) to grow our payments business across Singapore and the APAC region, building pipeline and closing deals with senior client stakeholders by offering integrated treasury solutions.

You will lead end-to-end sales efforts, collaborate with Coverage, Product, Client Services and Implementation, and drive strategic dialogues to quantify opportunities and position solutions.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in Treasury Services sales with proven client relationship experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking/Finance or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cash and liquidity management products and track record in sales.
  • Deep APAC market understanding and ability to drive outcomes in key markets.

Job description

As an MNC Payments Sales Manager Vice President within Payments Corporate Sales team, you will be primarily responsible for growing and developing our Payments business with existing and prospective clients in Singapore and APAC region. You will be expected to build pipeline and achieve new business sales goals through effective account planning, strong relationships and implementation of sophisticated selling strategies. This role provides an opportunity to engage with clients at senior and strategic levels to provide integrated treasury solutions.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead the sales of the entire Payments product suite/solution, including treasury services which covers core cash clearing, liquidity management and foreign exchange solutions; merchant services and trade & working capital.
  • Achieve new business goals, including the annual sales plan at target margins. Identify prospects and opportunities, develop strategic calling plans, and engage partners and senior managers to influence prospective clients.
  • Build trusted, long-term Payments business relationships by taking a holistic and forward-looking view. Identify ways to help clients achieve their most important business/treasury objectives.
  • Engage clients at senior and strategic levels to provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative and client-focused framework. Create strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning.
  • Partner closely with global stakeholders, including Coverage, Product, Client Services, and Implementation teams, to execute the sales strategy. Drive Sales Strategy for responsible Industry / Corridor.
  • Understand the unique challenges and requirements in the industry/client segment.
  • Manage the entire sales process, including supervising end-to-end implementation and day-to-day operations of client solutions.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 12 + years relevant experience in Treasury Services sales with proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win and close new businesses.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Banking/Financial Investment or related field.
  • Strong knowledge in cash and liquidity management products and ability to demonstrate strong track record in driving business results.
  • In-depth understanding of the APAC regional transaction banking landscape and a strong ability to drive business outcomes in key markets as well as the broader APAC footprint, with intellectual curiosity to keep up with the ever-changing market.
  • Established network and experience working with headquartered multinational corporate clients and deep knowledge of client segments and industries.
  • Demonstrated client ownership with a proven ability to mobilize available resources to deliver for clients.
  • Experience in managing teams and / or collaborating with stakeholders. Effective partnership skills with internal and external stakeholders and expertise around navigating a global organization.
