Work you’ll do
- Lead and manage all finance and accounting activities in the country.
- Maintain statutory books for all legal entities in compliance with local regulatory and legal requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate closings, analyses, and reconciliation of financials to meet global, regional, and local management and statutory reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting.
- Continuously review the adequacy of financial controls and implement improvements where necessary.
- Analyze and recommend improvements in the efficiency of various aspects of company operations, using internal and external benchmarks (ERP, Online Banking Process, SOP, etc.).
- Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices locally when required.
- Work with and enforce all internal departments to comply with accounting processes and procedures.
- Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to management.
- Collaborate with other functions and with the Regional Finance Centre of Excellence and Shared Service Center on daily operations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax, and government authorities.
- Supervise, manage, and develop the accounting team.
- Perform ad hoc finance projects as assigned.

Requirements
- At least ACCA level 3 or a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience in SAP and consulting firms is an advantage.
- Self-initiated, eager to learn, with high attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be organized and able to multitask.
- Able to commence work immediately is an advantage.
- Strong sense of commitment and responsibility.
