Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced ML/AI Engineer to productionise and operate machine-learning workloads on the enterprise data platform using AWS and Databricks. You will design reusable MLOps capabilities, build robust data pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists, platform engineers and governance teams to ensure secure, observable and cost-efficient AI services.

The role requires strong Python, Spark, and cloud skills, plus a pragmatic engineering mindset

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 4–7 years of software, data or ML engineering experience with end-to-end production ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable MLOps components and golden paths for experiment tracking, model registry, pipeline orchestration, deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Convert notebooks and prototypes into modular, tested production jobs, APIs and model-serving endpoints.
• Build reliable feature engineering pipelines on Databricks and AWS for ingestion, transformation, validation and serving of data.
• Optimise Spark and SQL performance, data layout and cluster configuration for cost efficiency.
• Create automated CI/CD workflows for code, data, features, prompts, models and infra across environments.
• Implement governance: lineage, approvals, deployment history, rollback mechanisms.
