Job summary

ST ENGINEERING CLOUD AND DATA CENTRE SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to manage enterprise middleware platforms across on-premise and AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will lead design implementations, support incident management, and ensure optimal middleware operations.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant middleware experience, with at least 3–5 years in a lead/L3 role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server v9, Oracle WebLogic Server, Red Hat JBoss Application Server.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, Elasticsearch administration, and troubleshooting.

Services include engineering works to design, build and provide facility management service for mission critical environments such as data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

We are looking for an experienced Middleware Engineer to take ownership of enterprise middleware platforms across on‑premise and AWS cloud environments. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and hands‑on experience in designing, managing, and optimizing complex middleware ecosystems.

Be Part of Our Success

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise middleware platforms.
• Act as L3 escalation point for complex incidents, performance issues, and critical outages.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle management (installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, decommissioning).
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to L1/L2 engineers.
• Architect and implement high availability (HA), DR, and resiliency solutions.
• Manage and support:
• IBM WebSphere Application Server v9
• Oracle WebLogic Server (12c / 19c, including OSB/SOA)
• Red Hat JBoss Application Server
• Oversee application deployments, environment setup, and release coordination.
• Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure middleware security hardening and compliance (VAPT remediation, patching).
• Automate operational tasks using scripting or DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, application, and cloud teams.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support DR drills, failover testing, and audit activities.

Qualities We Value

• Red Hat JBoss Application Server

• Strong experience in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or similar).
• Experience handling production‑critical environments.
