Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to join our team and play a key role in delivering enterprise-grade solutions for clients using Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE). The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise, particularly in the Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules, and be adept at engaging stakeholders, translating business needs into functional designs, and configuring systems using best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to develop solution designs.
  • Translate business processes into functional specifications.
  • Design solutions using Dynamics 365 CE out-of-the-box features and codeless extensibility.
  • Perform fit-gap analyses and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Configure Dynamics 365 CE modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing) based on documented requirements.
  • Ensure alignment with business processes and compliance with best practices.
  • Support testing phases including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and resolve configuration issues and ensure solution quality.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive functional documentation, including functional design documents, configuration guides, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Use methodologies such as Microsoft Sure Step or equivalent.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE modules: Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Experience with multi-language deployments and industry-specific implementations (e.g., Banking, Finance).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at various levels.
  • Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), data migration, and integration strategies.
  • Proficiency in creating solution artifacts such as ERDs, wireframes/mock-ups, and user stories.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in agile or waterfall environments.
