About the role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our team on a 1yr contract renewable basis. As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our clients' Microsoft 365 environments. This is a critical role, ensuring the smooth operation and productivity of our customers' businesses. The position is based in the Bedok East Region.

• Up to 8K monthly salary for the right candidate
• Office hours with 24X7 Support standby required

What you'll be doing

• You are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, support, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services. This includes:

• Daily Operations & Incident Handling: Managing incidents and service requests related to Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Office apps

• Monitoring & Reporting: Implementing monitoring tools to detect and remediate issues, generating usage reports, and ensuring service availability

• Technical Escalation & Vendor Coordination: Acting as the escalation point for technical issues and interfacing with Microsoft Support

• Automation & Scripting: Engineering automation solutions and using PowerShell for administrative tasks

• Security & Compliance: Supporting data classification, DLP policies, and ensuring compliance with licensing and organizational policies

• Deployment & Configuration: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services, including hybrid environments with Azure AD and ADFS

What we're looking for

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with Azure AD, ADFS, and hybrid messaging environments
• Familiarity with Windows Server (2016/2019), Active Directory, and Intune

Certifications:

• Microsoft 365 Certification or equivalent (e.g., MS-900, MD-102, MS-203, MS-102) is mandatory
• ITIL V3/4 required

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
