Job Summary

We are hiring a Microservice Software Engineer with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API experience to build scalable backend systems in an Agile environment.

Mandatory Skill-set:

• Degree in Information System, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in Java / J2EE application design, development, implementation and maintenance;
• Must have experience in Backend Development such as Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA , REST, JSON;
• Must have understanding on tools such as Jenkins, Git/Stash, Bitbucket, JIRA, Maven, SonarQube;
• Proficient programming skills in Java, JavaScript, JSF, Restful Web Services;
• Experience in designing and implementing microservices using Java, Spring Boot;
• Proficient in use of code versioning tools, such as GIT;
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment (CICD) processes for efficient web deployment;
• Experience in using Kafka, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ;
• Experience in relational databases like Oracle and MS SQL;
• Good verbal and communication skills..

Desired Skill-set:

• Knowledge in Linux/Unix environments and basic commands;
• Familiar with Microservice architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Develops software solutions by studying requirements, collaborating with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes;
• Engages in software design, programming, and testing for new applications, following the software development lifecycle;
• Adhere to coding standards, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code with comprehensive unit and integration testing;
• Design and develop APIs in a micro-service based architecture;
• Conduct software integration testing and assist with system-level testing to ensure robust application performance;
• Provides software enhancement, improvement, and troubleshooting for existing systems;
• Collaborate with other team engineers to integrate software components, system infrastructure, and third part components;
• Ensures delivery of results meeting requirement specifications with a focus on high-quality and customer satisfaction.
