Job summary

A*STAR's Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI) invites a motivated candidate to join our efforts in developing microneedle-based RNA carriers. You will support a Principal Scientist in cutting-edge research at BTI, contributing to experimental design, data analysis, and reporting.

The role emphasizes independence after training, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and clear communication of results. This is a hands-on research position based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field as listed.
• Experience is not required but helpful.
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently after training.
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Scientist in conducting research activities for developing microneedle-based RNA carriers.
• Perform microneedle sample preparation and characterization.
• Conduct cell experiments to check the biological activity of RNA payloads.
• Assist Principal Scientist in conducting mouse experiments.
• Record experimental findings and present analysis results to Principal Scientist.
• Assist Principal Scientist in drafting research reports and manuscripts.
• Handle the procurement of laboratory consumables and equipment.
• Participate in routine laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.
