Job summary

Ecolab Pte Ltd is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant, Microelectronics to support the growth of our Global High Tech business across Southeast Asia. You will serve as a technical SME for water treatment and process applications within semiconductor and electronics environments, collaborating with sales, R&D and marketing to troubleshoot and optimise operations.

Responsibilities include site surveys, audits and technical training, with emphasis on cooling water, pretreatment, RO, wastewater

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical/environmental engineering or related discipline.
Experience supporting semiconductor wafer fabrication or high-purity manufacturing.
Knowledge of cooling water, pretreatment, RO, deionisation, wastewater treatment, water reuse and closed-loop systems.
Ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide technical consulting and application expertise for water treatment in Microelectronics and semiconductor customers.
Troubleshoot complex problems via site assessments, data analysis and root-cause investigations.
Assess cooling, pretreatment, wastewater, reclaim, recycle and closed-loop water programs and propose improvements.
Conduct customer site surveys, audits and gap analyses to boost performance and satisfaction.
Partner with sales and accounts teams to develop technical sales opportunities.
Deliver technical trainings to customers, field teams and internal stakeholders.
Translate operational needs into technically and commercially viable solutions using Ecolab products and services.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, water quality and sustainability.
