Job summary

• Minimum Nitec / Diploma in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or related Science disciplines.
• Manufacturing laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiar with laboratory procedures, SOPs and documentation requirements.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiology testing using established procedures and protocols.
• Conduct testing such as sterility, bioburden, aseptic filtration and environmental monitoring.
• Perform environmental collection and testing, as well as testing of in-process solutions.
• Perform accurate data entry for routine microbiology testing.
• Follow established work instructions and SOPs when carrying out laboratory activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and traceability of testing information.
• Record relevant information accurately in device history records.
• Assist with testing validation and revalidation activities for critical systems and equipment under supervision.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory and manufacturing quality requirements.
