Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is recruiting for a Microbiology Lab Analyst (Pharma MNC) in Tuas. The role is a 1-year contract with training provided, offering up to SGD 2,400 plus a SGD 800 allowance monthly. Work will involve 2 shifts, with detailed SOP-driven lab tasks and Kaizen initiatives.

Candidate should have a Diploma in Sciences or equivalent. Location is West Singapore with islandwide pickup. On-the-job training and compliance with 5S and safety requirements are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Sciences or equivalent is required.
• Experience with lab SOPs and quality systems is preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, sampling and laboratory tasks per SOPs with right-first-time accuracy.
• Review and approve test results and lab records according to requirements.
• Support project implementation and Kaizen initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and 5S standards.
• Assist in routine equipment activities including calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct sample collection, handling, labelling and documentation.
• Communicate results to relevant requestors.
• Assist in inventory management and LIMS registration.

Microbiology Lab Analyst (PHARMA MNC/1 year) - Training Provided/up to $3.2k/West #HAO

Salary: up to $2400 + 800 allowance
Duration: 1 year
Working Days & Hours: Mon to Friday (including PH)

2 shifts (8 hrs each) Shift hours - 1st Shift: 7:15 AM – 3:30 PM, 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:30 PM (Break: 45 mins)
Location: Tuas (islandwide pickup)

• Perform testing, sampling and laboratory tasks in accordance with established SOPs, ensuring right-first-time execution.
• Complete assigned tasks within allocated timelines.
• Review and approve test results and laboratory records in accordance with requirements and specifications.
• Support project implementation and Kaizen initiatives.
• Comply with laboratory safety, regulatory and compliance requirements, and maintain 5S standards.
• Perform or assist in basic troubleshooting in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in routine laboratory equipment activities, including calibration and preventive maintenance (PM).
• Conduct sample collection, handling, labelling, preparation and documentation in accordance with established SOPs.
• Communicate completed test results to relevant requestors.
• Assist in inventory management, including registration of standards, reagents and reference materials in LIMS.
• Complete assigned On-the-Job Training (OJT).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor based on business needs.
