Role Description

The Electronic and Sensor Integration Team Manager will report to the product development team for cold applied products, part of the Energy Business unit. S/he will lead and be responsible for managing a team working on new product development (NPD), value analysis and value engineering (VA/VE), and sustaining projects. This role requires strong leadership skills and demonstrated product development experience in a global technology company to drive success for the Energy BU by leading the team to develop best-in-class engineering solutions for customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and drive the Electronic and Sensor Integration Team.
  2. Demonstrate technical leadership and provide innovative solutions.
  3. Guide the development of complex electronic systems, including analog and digital circuits.
  4. Oversee the implementation of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and machine learning in electronic products.
  5. Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IPC) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FCC, CE).
  6. Perform resource planning and prioritization for required activities.
  7. Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of NPD projects.
  8. Collaborate with product managers, mechanical teams, software developers, and system architects to integrate electronics into end products.
  9. Facilitate transfer and support of new product introduction (NPI) into high volume manufacturing.
  10. Participate in design and project reviews.
  11. Support product compliance and approvals for new products and platforms.
  12. Empower the team through development and coaching.
  13. Support product management teams as a technical partner.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Graduate or postgraduate (BE or M.Tech) in Electronics engineering or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of engineering experience, with more than 5 years in supervising and leading teams.
  • Experience in developing and industrializing electronic and sensor products, preferably in the Energy market.
  • Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics, signal conditioning, and sensor communication protocols.
  • Proven track record in sensor deployment for industrial, renewable, or power systems.
  • Experience with embedded systems, PCB design, and system-level integration.
  • Familiarity with energy systems, including power electronics, renewable energy, grid interfaces, or smart metering.
  • Familiarity with IoT platforms and cloud-based sensor data acquisition.
