Soitec in Singapore is seeking an experienced technician for semiconductor manufacturing maintenance. Your key responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting semiconductor equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting semiconductor manufacturing equipment and the automated material handling system (AMHS) to ensure high equipment availability, reliability, and operational efficiency. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, maintain accurate records and documentation, and adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOP), quality standards, safety requirements, and housekeeping practices.
You will support equipment engineers in tool improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime, improving performance, and enhancing cost efficiency while ensuring compliance with departmental guidelines and corporate policies. There will be opportunities to participate in continuous improvement projects (CIP), equipment upgrades, process improvements, and reliability enhancement projects.
You must possess a high degree of adaptability and initiative, with the ability to learn quickly and be capable of working independently with minimal guidance as the role may require periods of autonomous work, strong problem-solving skills and self-discipline.
