Job summary

Anradus Pte. Ltd. in Loyang Crescent seeks a Metal Cutting Technician / Engineer to plan and execute precision metal cutting across aluminium, steel, titanium and aerospace alloys.

You will operate band saw and cold saw, read engineering drawings, perform measurements with verniers and micrometers, maintain records, and ensure quality and safety standards. Permanent role with 5-day work week and a monthly salary up to SGD 3,500 plus a variable bonus.

• Support equipment maintenance, process improvement and troubleshooting for cutting operations.
• Coordinate with warehouse, quality, suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Follow quality, safety and FOD prevention requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out metal cutting work for aluminium, steel, titanium, nickel alloys and other raw materials based on customer orders and drawings.
• Operate and support band saw, cold saw and other cutting equipment, ensuring accurate dimensions and efficient material usage.
• Perform material measurement and quality inspection using tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers and measuring tapes.
• Review cutting lists, engineering drawings, Mill Test Reports (MTRs) and material certifications against customer and industry requirements.
• Maintain material traceability and prepare inspection records, Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and related quality documentation.
• Support equipment maintenance, process improvement and troubleshooting for cutting operations.
• Coordinate with warehouse, quality, suppliers and internal teams to resolve material or quality issues.
• Follow relevant quality, safety and FOD prevention requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
• Relevant experience in metal cutting, machining, raw materials or quality inspection is preferred.
• Familiar with industrial saws and precision measuring instruments.
• Able to read basic engineering drawings and maintain accurate technical records.
• Knowledge of aluminium, steel, titanium, nickel alloys or aerospace-grade materials is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AMS, ASTM, AS9100, AS9120 or ISO 9001 is an advantage.
