Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to support MES models, including products, routes, operations and lot movements, with a focus on fab operations in the East region of Singapore.

You will design, develop, and maintain CIM applications, provide 24/7 Level 2 and 3 support for production lines, and collaborate with OSS and CIM teams to improve system response time and availability, while gathering requirements for new CIM versions and training staff.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with MES.
Knowledge of Oracle SQL.
Familiar with SECS / Tibco.
Experience in high-tech manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Good communication and writing skills.
A good team player with good communication skills and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Monitoring, support, and maintenance and documentation of the MES model in terms of products, routes, operations, and lot movements.
Design, develop, maintenance and continuous improvements of assigned CIM applications and components
Provide 24/7 Level 2 & 3 supports for the proper operation of Production lines
To work with IT Operation Service Support (OSS) and CIM support teams for common goal of system response time and system availability.
To gather requirements, design, develop and deployment of new versions of CIM applications
Documentation of requirements and coordination of enhancements in the assigned area
Plan, coordinate and conduct training for assigned applications
Work with other departments for productivity enhancements, error / cost reductions and other improvement projects as and when needed
