Merger & Acquisitions Consulting Director
Summary
Our human capital consultants help clients design the future HR operating model, HR programs and evaluate the human capital implications of any business transformation and Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions. M&A consultants help client organizations evaluate the human capital implications, helping to streamline the transition for their employees and support the HR team’s role in meeting value capture and synergy targets. Consultants provide pre-transaction and post-transaction advice on due diligence, HR strategy, change management, culture assessment, organization design and more. This role is a recognized subject matter expert and a senior individual contributor who manages large-scale projects, coaches team members and solves complex problems.
We will count on you to:
- Drive and lead the M&A and Business Transformation related sales and business development activities.
- Manage and run large-scale M&A projects for Southeast Asia and across Asia.
- Work closely with M&A Engagement Manager, M&A Market Leader and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of client solutions.
- Identify and close value-added opportunities for the client throughout the M&A and Business Transformation related engagements.
- Participate in client-facing activities to identify new business leads.
- Take part in client engagements throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure deliverables meet client's business objectives and ensure successful completion of project.
- Collaborate with M&A team and other nominated lines of business (LOB) consultants by providing project management leadership to ensure the successful delivery of medium to large-scale M&A and business transformation projects.
- Contribute to the delivery of the team’s business initiatives as assigned.
- Prepare periodic reports and analyses used to plan and manage the M&A consulting services business.
- Monitor personal and team compliance with policies and procedures.
- Leverage lines of business (LOB) consultants to deliver on subject matter expertise.
- Lead, coach and oversees team members throughout the projects.
What you need to have:
- 8 to 15 years of experience in HR M&A consulting, business & organization transformation and/or change management experience.
- Strong track record in client and business development.
- Ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent commercial sense and deal knowledge.
- Strong research and analysis skills.
- Attention to detail with sufficient project delivery experience.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with results driven mentality.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing client engagements.
- Proven experience in generating new business and expanding existing client relationships.
