Get to Know the Role

This Sales Executive role is primarily focused on acquiring merchant partners for our Deals business, which sits under Grab's OmniCommerce umbrella. Deals are a critical driver of demand generation for restaurants, bringing diners in at scale while enabling operators to optimise seatings and revenues. In addition to deals acquisition, the role also includes opportunities to upsell reservations solutions where relevant, expanding merchant adoption across Grab's broader suite.

OmniCommerce is Grab's new umbrella of services, supporting restaurants' physical stores. Our goal is to help restaurants on our platform drive sustainable growth by becoming their demand generation engine both offline and online, with a full suite of solutions – content & discovery, reservations, table management & ordering solutions, deals, loyalty, insights & CRM, payments, and ads.

This role reports to the Manager, Merchant Sales, and is fully onsite at Grab Singapore office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
  • Drive deals acquisition by identifying, prospecting, and closing new merchant partners across Singapore's F&B landscape
  • Develop sales opportunities through referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetings
  • Diligently follow up and close opportunities to ensure timely onboarding of new merchants
  • Upsell reservations solutions where relevant to further embed Grab's value proposition with partners
  • Build lasting relationships with restaurant decision makers to support sustainable partnerships
  • Consult and recommend Grab products while clearly articulating the commercial value of joining the Grab network
  • Collate press materials to ensure new merchants are launch-ready across Grab's distribution channels
  • Work closely with Operations and Marketing to facilitate successful product adoption and client go-lives
  • Contribute to tactical sales strategies to improve team efficiency and drive incremental sales output
