Job summary

A leading recruitment service provider in Singapore is looking for a Junior Business Development support to manage partnerships and develop business strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Cards/Payment industry, be proficient in English and Chinese, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include supporting projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Job Description:

Relationship Development & Management

  • Junior BD supports projects for Inbound Alipay CN and A+ for our local acquirers and KA partners
  • Support BD to develop business plans with internal and external partners (and in some instances central banks, local switches and government agencies, working with tech/development team to scope out the tech integration requirement, structuring partner incentives to expedite roll out and ramp up merchant acquisition and TPV/GMV

Resource Alignment

  • Coordinate with cross-functional team to manage partnership relationships, execute projects, construct/improve our delivery platforms and ensure full risk & regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate efforts with growth team in order to achieve high performances and innovation development of solutions/campaigns for our partners

Industry Knowledge & Awareness

  • Deep local market/industry/competitive landscape to formulate business strategies and execute in-country activities in line with partners’ needs and management directives
  • Keeping up to date of the latest industry trends, technology developments,anticipate changes in consumer behaviors and conduct regular pulse checks with business partners (acquirers/KAs) on the latest market changes

  • Have entrepreneurial spirit at heart and have the ability to work under constant changing environments and keep enthusiasm and sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrate successful drive for growth by keeping up to date with new technology solutions, competitive development and landscape and how to leverage Ant Group ecosystem to win over competitions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' working experience; familiar with local Cards/Payment industry, e-Commerce and retail industry; Strong finance and/or technology background will be preferred
  • Proficient in English and Chinese speaking in daily work; excellent cross cultural communication skills
  • Global view and clear thinking, strong communication / coordination / business negotiations skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams; coordinate each departments across different geographies and business units to achieve desired results
