Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Merchandising Purchasing Executive to join our team. The Merchandising Purchasing Executive will assist the Manager in PO creation, reports, liaising with external suppliers and internal departments to ensure seamless process of stock to store after order is placed and providing necessary clerical and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented with effective communication abilities.
Job Responsibilities
Drive sales, profit, and income goals through strategic category planning
Develop customer-focused product assortments and compelling promotional campaigns
Design planograms and placement strategies to influence shopper behavior
Implement competitive pricing, price comparisons and analyze pricing in the SAP system
Follow up and update information accurately in the SAP system
Source for new products and allocate product categories
Analyse product pricing strategies and their impact on sales and margins
Liaise with suppliers on promotional activities and prompt delivery of stocks
Conduct market research to stay current with the market trend and competitor strategies
Ensure order confirmations and invoices from suppliers are accurate.
Creating and uploading purchase orders to facilitate receiving process.
Work on retail prices with HODS and ensure prices are aligned and updated accordingly to special promotion / seasons
Follow up and keep track with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Follow up with suppliers and liaise with stores when issues arise (eg damage stocks, wrong items delivered, etc)
Liaising with stores and warehouse to arrange stocks to stores.
Liaising with stores and MIS on inventory-system related issues.
Weekly stock level replenishment for stores.
Monitor stock level of key items and follow up with re-orders when necessary.
Weekly and Monthly sell through reports.
Attend calls enquiries / orders / emails
Undertake incoming and outgoing calls.
Serve as a first point of contact for issues encountered.
Identify the issues and escalate to relevant internal teams for follow-ups.
Do tally sheet for shipment(Tally Supplier Tax Invoice / Packing list against SAP, thereafter, pull the PO details in EXCEL)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel, V-look up.
Check & verify goods received from suppliers.
Provide sales analysis, stock status or other reports when requested.
Support operations when necessary.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Merchandising, eCommerce or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role and industry preferred (wholesales - retail trade)
Preferable Experience & Proficient in SAP
PC literate, proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office
Those with administrative experience will be considered for Warehouse Administrative role.
No experience in Purchasing but has administrative experience are welcome to apply for Warehouse Administrative role
Strong numeric and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Sense of urgency flexibility ability to multi-task.
Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills & good command of English & Mandarin.(in order to handle queries, feedback and concerns from Mandarin speaking associates in regards with the shipments matters.)
Permanent Position with annual appraisal for candidates with good performance, AWS, Medical and Dental benefit.
Able to communicate with Chinese speaking associates and customers.

Working hours:
Monday toFriday: 8.30am - 6pm
Saturday: 8.30am - 3pm
Work 1 Saturday per month (Once a month duty).
