Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Management: Assist in managing a portfolio of product categories, ensuring a well-balanced assortment that meets customer needs and aligns with company objectives.

  • Assortment Planning: Support the Merchandising Manager in developing and implementing assortment plans based on market trends, sales data, and customer feedback, to optimize product mix and drive sales growth.

  • Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, analysing sell-through rates, and implementing replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stocks and overstock situations.

  • Market Research: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape, providing insights to inform merchandising decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations and warehouse, to ensure alignment and execution of merchandising initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of merchandising experience in a retail industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
