Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing product development processes, ensuring accurate reporting and data analysis, and coordinating closely with factories to maintain production timelines. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless communication between our internal teams, vendors, and buyers.

Job Description:

1) Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Consolidate and prepare various reports related to sample and VAP (Value-Added Process) projection accuracy.

  • Analyse data for monitoring factory performance and production timelines.

  • Maintain and update the Sample & VAP Tracking Chart to ensure timely delivery and report generation.

  • Perform costing analysis and highlight deviations or potential cost-saving opportunities.

2) Presentation & Documentations

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and visual reports for internal and external meetings.

  • Support merchandising and planning teams with data-driven insights and presentation materials.

3) Tech Pack Management

  • Download latest Tech Packs from the buyer system daily.

  • Upload Tech Packs to the designated notify relevant factory departments to ensure timely access and actions.

4) Tech Pack Review

  • Conduct detailed checks and comparisons between the latest and previous versions of Tech Packs and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

  • Identify and report discrepancies for costing and production planning.

  • Liaise with buyers’ Technical Designers to clarify technical issues or changes as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile/Fabric Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in a manufacturing or trading office environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) or Centric software is an added advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.

  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external partners.

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
