Job summary

CHARLES & KEITH (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Merchandise Planner to drive range planning, forecasting, buying, and performance monitoring of sales and inventory. You will collaborate with franchise partners to optimize assortment and hitting KPIs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP and Qlikview proficiency, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced fashion environment. A related degree and 2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business/Statistics/Business Analytics/Mathematics/Supply Chain.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred; candidates without experience will be considered.
• General knowledge of Merchandising, Buying process and Product knowledge.
• Excellent computing skills, proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, planning and organization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills; able to work with diverse cultures.
• Bilingual, proactive with strong analytical skills; keen eye for details.
• Proficiency in SAP and Qlikview is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with franchise partners on seasonal OTB and alignment with financial targets.
• Forecast order quantity for the assigned category.
• Hit KPIs including sales target, sell-through and optimal inventory levels.
• Support pre-season activities: launch planning, allocation, pricing for new season.
• Curate product assortment and optimize performance throughout the lifecycle.
• Support in-season activities: repeat orders, markdowns and consolidation.
• Build productive relationships within the team and with franchise partners.
• Understand country/partner nuances and competitive landscape to optimize performance.
• Participate in departmental IT and productivity projects.

Job description

As a Merchandise Planner, you will play a key role in range planning, forecasting, buying, and monitoring the performance of sales, inventory and markdowns. We welcome people who have strong interest in fashion & strong analytical skills to join the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with franchise partners on determining seasonal OTB & alignment with financial targets.
• Forecast order quantity for the assigned category.
• Undertake tactical actions to hit KPIs which include sales target, sell through and achieve optimal inventory level closing stocks.
• Support execution of pre-season activities which include launch planning, allocation plan, pricing for new season & range planning.
• Curate and manage product assortment and strategically optimizing performance throughout the product life cycle.
• Support execution of in-season activities which include repeat orders, markdowns & consolidation.
• Build and maintain productive relationships within the team, cross-functional teams and franchise partners.
• Understand country/partner level nuances and competitive landscape to optimize business performance
• Participate in departmental projects to improve the I.T system or productivity of the department and company.

Requirements:
