Job summary

ALSTERN TECHNOLOGIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

is seeking a cost estimation professional to support ACMV, Electrical, Ducting, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary systems through tender analysis and BOQ preparation. You will collaborate with procurement, engineering and project teams, perform basic cost analyses, source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and assist in tender submissions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in ACMV/MEP estimation or projects.
• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing tender documents, drawings, and project specifications to support cost estimation for ACMV, Electrical, Ducting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, and Sanitary systems.
• Support site briefings, surveys, and data collection to understand project requirements.
• Source and compile quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for comparison and evaluation.
• Assist in the preparation of BOQ, costing summaries, and tender submissions.
• Perform basic cost analysis under guidance to support budgeting and cost optimization.
• Work closely with procurement, engineering, and project teams to align estimates with project requirements.
• Support documentation and coordination throughout the tendering and project execution process.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to gain understanding of project scope and systems.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute positively to team objectives.
