Job summary

NORTHCROFT LIM CONSULTANTS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an MEP QS to manage cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control for MEP systems on construction projects.

The role requires a degree in QS or engineering, 1–3 years' experience, strong MEP knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. You will liaise with consultants, main and sub-contractors, clients and suppliers to resolve cost issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of QS experience in consultancy or construction.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Proficient with cost estimation software, AutoCAD, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking for an MEP QS who will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration,and cost control related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To source for quotations, price comparison and costing summary;
• To prepare project costing;
• To prepare documents for tender and contract; &
• To liaise with Consultants, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Clients and suppliers/vendors for project cost issues.

Qualifications : -

• 1) Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field,
• 2) 1 - 3 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm or Construction Firm.
• 3) Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• 4) Excellent skills with relevant cost estimation software, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• 5) Executive communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• 6) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities
