Job summary

NORTHCROFT LIM CONSULTANTS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an MEP Executive QS to oversee cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control for MEP systems on construction projects.

You will source quotations, prepare costing and tender documents, and liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, clients and suppliers on cost issues to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years' experience in QS consultancy or construction.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Proficient in costing software, AUTOCAD and MS Office.
• Excellent executive communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control for MEP works.
• Source quotations, prepare costing summaries and tender documents.
• Prepare documents for tender and contract and liaise with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with consultants, main/sub-contractors, clients and suppliers on cost issues.

Job description

We are seeking an MEP Executive QS who will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration, and cost control related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To source for quotations, price comparison and costing summary;
• To prepare project costing;
• To prepare documents for tender and contract;
• To liaise with Consultants, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Clients and suppliers/vendors for project cost issues.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field,
• 4 - 6 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy Firm or Construction Firm.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.
• Excellent skills with relevant cost estimation software, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Executive communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
