Job summary

A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced MEP Drafter to prepare and update technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems in renovation projects. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in engineering and 2–5 years of MEP drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of local building codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in MEP drafting.
• Experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or building services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coordinated MEP drawings based on design inputs and site conditions.
• Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing files and logs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications.
• Assist in material take-offs or bill of quantities when required.

Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Strong understanding of MEP services layout

Familiarity with local building codes

Education

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 8.30am to 6pm
• Office Location: Eunos
• Salary: $3000-$3800

We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating technical drawings for mechanical (air-conditioning), electrical, fire protection (sprinklers), and plumbing systems in renovation projects.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in MEP drafting.
• Experience in construction, engineering consultancy, or building services projects preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of MEP services layout, installation sequencing, and coordination principles.
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards (e.g. BCA/ Singapore codes, if relevant)

️ Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare coordinated MEP drawings (plans, sections, details) based on design inputs and site conditions.
• Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings for electrical, air-conditioning, fire sprinkler, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback and ensure timely updates.
• Maintain organized drawing files and drawing logs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, company standards, and project specifications.
• Assist in material take-offs (MTOs) or bill of quantities (BOQ) when required.
