Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate (Psychology / Health Research) in the Department of Psychological Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, located at Kent Ridge Campus. You will work with the PI, supervise junior staff, and contribute to publications and conferences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Public Health, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or related discipline.
• Experience in research project management and coordination.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research databases.
• Interest in mental health or related research.
• Experience with IRB processes and statistical/qualitative analysis software (SPSS, R, NVivo) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research activities, study protocols and project documentation.
• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to manuscripts and reports.
• Oversee participant recruitment, retention and follow-up activities.
• Conduct data collection, management and analysis (quantitative/qualitative).
• Support ethics and regulatory submissions, including IRB applications and amendments.
• Coordinate meetings and communications with project stakeholders and collaborators.
• Assist in dissemination of findings through reports, presentations and publications.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior research staff and student assistants.
