Combining a social club, co-working space, and an evolving calendar of events including discussions, parties, DJ nights, wellness sessions, and corporate launches, we create catalytic moments that stimulate both the intellect and the senses.

WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for a highly skilled Membership Manager professional to drive revenue growth, build strong member relationships, and identify new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales, client management, and business expansion.


You will play a critical role in managing & developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to clients. Your ability to analyze market trends, nurture long-term partnerships, and execute growth initiatives will be essential to success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Membership

  • Respond to membership enquiries, conduct tours, and onboard new members
  • Respond to member requests for suspensions, terminations, and corporate transfers
  • Work with membership and finance team for additional member-related matters such as renewals, disputes, suspensions, terminations, and finance-related matters
  • Liaising with finance team for member-related finance
  • Troubleshoot member issues from time to time
  • Support Membership & Partnerships Director with member analysis, reports and surveys
  • Building benefits with partners to ensure we have a valuable benefit offering for our members
  • Manage highly sensitive membership data

Communities

  • Create and manage communities for our members from fitness-focused to literature-loving groups. Work with the members to understand their passions to help drive the formation of these communities
  • Conceptualize, produce, and manage community-focused initiatives, events, and programming, working with the wider 1880 team.
  • Ensure a wide and diverse range of communities and associated initiatives are considered
  • Ensure all events are organized and planned in time for deadlines and communicated appropriately.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience in a sales & customer service-focused role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Strong team player
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong proficiency in organization, problem-solving, and communication
  • Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends
