Position Overview
The Membership Advisor will be responsible for servicing inbound member calls and emails from our exclusive Marriott Vacations Club Member base. This position will complete reservations and encourage member retention through value-added delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls within stipulated service levels
- Assist customers in vacation planning and worldwide hotel reservations
- Resolve customer care issues and handle inquiries
- Maintain call logs and documentation
- Promote booking opportunities and foster customer loyalty
- Respond to emails with clarity and professionalism
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct one-on-one program education sessions with members (by appointment)
- Assist customers with various Marriott Vacation Club products
- Send acknowledgment confirmations after requests
- Follow up post-stay based on customer feedback
- Update contact lists and perform periodic calls
- Manage trade fulfillment for Marriott Reward Points and issue certificates
- Collect payments such as Annual Dues, Maintenance Fees, and Loan Payments
- Generate upgrade and referral leads
- Assist with contract modifications and resale inquiries in collaboration with the Contract Admin team
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience preferred.
Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with native speakers. Additional languages are a plus.
Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
