Our System Test team is responsible for test planning, scenario design, test case development, and automation suite development to assess and improve product quality. The role involves influencing product design, leveraging broad product knowledge, and ensuring a quality-first mindset in development practices. It also includes automating complex tests that mimic customer environments to ensure performance and scalability.

About the Team

You will report to a Senior Manager or Director of Engineering who provides mentorship and guidance. The work setup is hybrid, requiring presence in the office 3 days a week, promoting collaboration and flexibility. There are no significant travel requirements for this position.

Your Role

We seek passionate, motivated individuals to own the end-to-end quality of the Prism Central Product. Responsibilities include understanding business requirements, preparing test plans, developing and executing tests, automating test scenarios, and supporting maintenance of automation scripts in an agile environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for Prism Central services.
• Create test automation frameworks using Python.
• Implement API and UI tests, simulating end-to-end workflows for stress, scale, and performance testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure reliability of infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and simulate scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution, maintaining software quality.
• Assess product quality in terms of stress, scalability, high availability, and usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in system, scale, and performance testing.
• Experience with debugging system issues related to CPU, memory, network, and storage.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation, with experience in Java or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter.
• Experience in API testing, automation, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with cloud-based applications, distributed systems, Kubernetes, or microservices is a plus.
• Understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and Linux environment is beneficial.
