Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks an Analyst to support a national initiative accelerating high-value MedTech products and strengthening Singapore's MedTech ecosystem.

You will conduct market research, technology and IP landscaping, and financial modelling for MedTech startups, working with a venture acceleration team and collaborating with VCs and industry players to bring innovations to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and commercial research, including market sizing, customer segmentation, and industry landscape assessments.
• Support technology and IP landscaping to assess differentiation, clinical relevance, and commercialisation potential.
• Assist in building and maintaining financial models, business cases, and venture evaluation materials.
• Contribute to venture acceleration activities, including reviewing business plans, market entry strategies, and fundraising materials.
• Assist with coordination and execution of venture acceleration activities.
• Maintain project and portfolio tracking databases, and support the preparation of progress reports and management updates.
• Prepare presentation materials, briefing notes, and research summaries to support internal decision-making.
• Carry out ad hoc research and analytical projects related to medical technology innovation, commercialisation, and venture development.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline

About the Role

Interested in where healthcare innovation meets venture building? We're looking for an Analyst to join a national initiative dedicated to accelerating high-value MedTech products and strengthening Singapore's MedTech innovation ecosystem.

You'll support market and commercial research, technology and IP landscaping, and financial modelling for promising MedTech startups — working alongside a venture acceleration team that partners closely with venture capitals and industry players to bring innovations to market.

What You Will Do

Market & Technology Research

• Conduct market and commercial research, including market sizing, customer segmentation, competitor benchmarking, and industry landscape assessments for MedTech
• Support technology and IP landscaping to assess differentiation, clinical relevance, and commercialisation potential.

Venture Acceleration & Financial Analysis

• Assist in building and maintaining financial models, business cases, and venture evaluation materials
• Contribute to venture acceleration activities, including reviewing business plans, market entry strategies, and fundraising materials
• Assist with coordination and execution of venture acceleration activities.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain project and portfolio tracking databases, and support the preparation of progress reports and management updates
• Prepare presentation materials, briefing notes, and research summaries to support internal decision-making
• Carry out ad hoc research and analytical projects related to medical technology innovation, commercialisation, and venture development

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
