Job summary

A*STAR Research in Singapore invites an experienced professional to the role of Assistant Director / Senior Assistant Director for the MedTech Cluster. You will coordinate national platforms, build relationships with academia, clinicians, and public sector bodies, and support sector activities and campus planning.

The role requires MSc/PhD in a technical field, >10 years in relevant sectors, and strong project management, networking and event skills.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related medical technology field.
• >10 years of working experience in medical device/Health IT, R&D, strategic/corporate planning or life science management consulting.
• Project and/or programme management experience is required.
• Experience in front-facing engagements with vendors, key accounts and stakeholders.
• Experience organizing events involving external stakeholders at scale >100 attendees.
• Excellent networking, communication, presentation and writing skills.
• Demonstrate ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic small team.

Responsibilities

• Support the organization of Medtech Sector activities and events.

Requirements

• >10 years of working experience in either medical device/Health IT industry, R&D, strategic/corporate planning, life science management consulting or any other relevant roles
• Project and/or programme management experience is required
• Experience in front-facing engagements dealing with vendors, key accounts, stakeholders
• Experience in organizing events and activities involving external stakeholders at a scale of >100 attendees
• Possess excellent networking, communication, presentation and writing skills.
• Demonstrate ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines
• Enjoy working in a dynamic small team
