Job Summary:

The Medication Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of pharmaceutical products to nursing homes. This role requires operating a 10-footer lorry, ensuring compliance with cold chain logistics where necessary, adhering to healthcare regulations, and maintaining professional communication with healthcare staff to facilitate seamless deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Transport & Delivery:

• Collect medications from pharmacies.
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and temperature control (if required) during transport.
• Deliver medications securely and on time to nursing home facilities.

Compliance & Safety:

• Follow healthcare and pharmaceutical transport regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for medication handling and delivery records.
• Adhere to cold chain logistics protocols when delivering temperature-sensitive medications.

Customer & Stakeholder Communication:

• Coordinate deliveries with nursing home staff to ensure accurate handovers.
• Address any discrepancies, delays, or special requests professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive medical deliveries.

· Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance:

• Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle for optimal performance.
• Ensure storage conditions in the vehicle meet pharmaceutical transport requirements.
• Report any vehicle issues that may impact delivery schedules.
