Job description

Job Level & compensation offered may vary depending on candidates’ experiences and competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing cell isolation using density gradient techniques, cell enrichment isolation, or other isolation methods
• Preparing isolated cells for downstream applications or cryopreservation
• Maintaining detailed records of procedures and results
• Ensures maintenance of instruments and equipment is performed according to manufacturer and SOP requirements and documented according to SOP.
• Always Comply with regulatory guidelines and Labcorp Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS).
• Inventory management
• Adheres to established Safety policies and Universal precaution guidelines at all times. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Attends departmental meetings and training as required by training matrices
• Incumbent proactively seeks out opportunities to improve processes and procedures and demonstrates initiative in resolving problems
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Experience with aseptic techniques, cell isolation techniques, particularly PBMC isolation and good laboratory practices
• Basic Knowledge of flow cytometry and has good pipetting techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols
• Comfortable with working day shift Tues to Sat (9am to 6pm), Sundays and Public holidays on rotational basis.
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, physical or biological science from an accredited college or University.
• Fresh graduates with laboratory experience are welcome to apply.
