Responsibilities:
Perform routine laboratory test procedures accurately and timely as outlined in the established SOPs and regulatory standards.
Ensure the validity of tests results through the performance of established quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Monitor reagents, materials, and supplies.
Ensure maintenance of equipment is performed according to manufacturer and SOP requirements and documented according to SOP.
Participate in data analytics and quality assurance management to enhance laboratory efficiency.
Participate in the development of new and/or innovative laboratory tests and implementation of state-of-the-art technologies for laboratory testing.
Provide training to laboratory personnel on laboratory test procedures.
Lead team members in specified laboratory functions to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Apply scientific knowledge and technical skills to support and troubleshoot laboratory test procedures, analyzer maintenance, and workflow and operational issues.
Support investigation and CAPA management during non-conformance events.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of professional experience in assigned technical area/bench.
Experience in specialized chemistry laboratory testing (protein electrophoresis, esoteric immunology testing, Mesosector Discovery instrument), quality assurance, laboratory audit and accreditation, or data analytics will be an advantage.
Candidates with significant years of relevant work experience can be considered for a senior position.
Bachelor’s degree in any healthcare discipline, with a combination of work experience/training.
Prior work experience in a CRO/central laboratory setting will be advantageous.
Able to handle a high workload in a fast-paced environment with good problem-solving skills.
Possesses a positive work attitude and is responsible, meticulous, and efficient.
Works well independently, in a team, and/or in a leadership role.
Able to commit to Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday work shifts.
Comfortable with overtime and working on public holidays/weekends (if required only).
