Job Summary:Are you passionate about medical science and eager to make a difference? As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients by performing a variety of laboratory tests in the Immunology department. Your expertise will help us ensure accurate and timely results, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample Collection & Preparation:Skillfully collect and prepare biological samples for testing.
• Laboratory Testing:Conduct a wide range of tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids using both manual and automated techniques.
• Result Analysis:Analyze test results with precision and report findings to medical staff promptly.
• Equipment Management:Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment.
• Quality Control:Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot any issues to ensure reliable test results.
• Compliance & Safety:Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
• Documentation:Accurately document all test procedures and results.
• Collaboration:Work closely with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and select appropriate tests.
• Continuous Learning:Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory testing and medical technology.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Certification:Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
• Experience:Minimum of 1 year of solid experience in a regulated clinical laboratory setting.
• Technical Skills:Proficient in using laboratory equipment and performing assigned testing procedures (Immunology - Electrophoresis, ELISA, IFA, Phadia & Liaison testings)
• Attention to Detail:Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team Player:Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Communication Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
