Job description

• To perform laboratory diagnostic procedures and related activities to provide a quality laboratory services to our customers, both internal and external.
• Perform basic rapid testing as stated in the standard procedure manual and conduct continuous quality control checks
• Receive samples, determine the acceptability of samples with guidelines and prepare specimens for analysis
• Validate the accuracy of laboratory data
• Evaluate the report results accurately in accordance with procedures
• Co-ordinate general workflow and prioritise laboratory requests accordingly
• Able to operate and calibrate most laboratory instruments
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments
• Monitor and manage laboratory inventory and supplies
• Perform new procedures as directed by senior staff

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science/ Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biomedical Science or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Clinical Laboratory will be preferred
• Good health and eyesight, no color blindness
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player with initiative and adaptive to changes
