Job Summary

Medpace has established laboratories in the USA, Europe, Singapore, and China. We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Technologist to join our Medpace Reference Laboratory team in Singapore. This position plays a pivotal role in research based drug development within the pharmaceutical industry. If you have an analytical mind set, and enjoy working in a laboratory setting, this could be the opportunity for you! Great career development in the clinical trial industry. Successful candidate will be trained at multi-specialties within the lab.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting;
  • Develop knowledge of local and international regulations regarding clinical trials;
  • Develop knowledge of pre-analytical variables affecting clinical laboratory testing;
  • Develop knowledge of disease processes and correlation with clinical laboratory data;
  • Perform laboratory investigations;
  • Perform clinical specimen testing, documentation, and routine lab system operations;
  • Ensure validity of laboratory data reported.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Biochemistry, Haematology, and/or Immunology;
  • Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and medical terminology;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Able to work in a team environment with effective interpersonal skills and able to work independently;
  • Able to work on rotational public holidays and weekends.
