Job description

MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER (2-Year Contract)

You are zealous about providing social work in a women’s and children’s healthcare setting. You will work in a multi-disciplinary outpatient setting, to provide counseling and support for families of children with developmental delays, disorders and / or special needs. In addition to delivering workshops and parent training programs, you will support patients and their families with their emotional, social, financial and family problems. You are also a resource person for patients and families, by connecting them to external organizations.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Social Work with at least 1-2 years of experience
• Compassionate, mature, passionate, dedicated and a team player
• Interested in practicing social work in a specialized healthcare setting
• A fast and efficient worker with the ability to multi-task
• Registered Social Worker with the Social Work Accreditation Board (SWAB)
