Medical Science Liaison - CKM/DR
Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Primary Activities:
    • Exchange and dissemination of scientific, educational, and research information: The MSL plans, prepares, and engages with Thought Leaders (TLs) (Doctors) proactively and reactively using various engagement tactics and formats. They provide education on scientific data, study protocols, abstracts, and literature, handling both on-label and off-label questions in compliance with regulations.
    • Interactions with Medical Societies and Advisory Boards: The MSL addresses medical/scientific queries related to Bayer products and supports advisory boards.
    • Participation in Congresses and Conventions: The MSL attends industry events, interacts with TLs, establishes contacts, and gathers intelligence.
    • Coordination of Scientific Education Activities: The MSL organizes scientific training and educational sessions within their therapeutic area or product.
    • TL identification, profiling, segmentation, strategy, and engagement planning: Contributing to internal understanding of TL interests and expertise.
    • Preparation of reports and activity tracking: Submitting reports and tracking progress against objectives.
  2. Secondary Activities:
    • External scientific support, training, and education beyond primary activities.
Who you are
  • Qualification in natural sciences or a medical background (MD/MBBS/BAMS/BDS/MDS).
  • Basic knowledge of Chronic Kidney Disease and Diabetes, and related molecules.
  • Understanding of clinical trial design and rationale.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, building productive relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
