A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist (Microbiology) for a 1-year contract. The role involves performing tests on patient specimens, conducting quality control checks, and managing laboratory activities. Candidates must have a degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent and be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends. Experience in cytological specimens screening is a plus.

You will perform tests on patients' specimens and conduct continuous quality control checks. You will be involved in problem-solving, inventory management, and other laboratory activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of clinical results. You will be required to perform shift duties to support operational needs.

  • Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting laboratory issues as they arise.

Requirements
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
  • Experience in cytological specimens screening is advantageous.
  • Candidates with more than 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist role.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to perform three rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good team player with strong communication skills.
